9 Chapter 2 Hardware Setup Rack Mounting For convenience and flexibili ty, the CE770 L and CE770RQ can be mounted on system racks. To rack mount a unit do the following: 1. Use two grounding wires to ground both uni ts by connecting one end of a wire to the grounding terminal, and th e other end of the wire to a suitable grounded object.

17 Chapter 3 Operation Operating Modes The CE770 USB KVM Extender has three operating modes: Local, Auto, and Remote, as described in the table below: Note: The default operating mode is Auto . Mode Description Local Only the local console has KV M access.
