6 RQTX1326 How you set up your speakers can af fect the bass and the sound field. Note the following points: ≥ Place speakers on flat secur e bases. ≥ Keep your speakers at least 10 mm ( 13 / 32 q ) away from t he system for proper ventilation. ≥ Placing speakers too close to floors , walls, and corner s can result in excessive bass.
7 RQTX1326 Getting Started Quick Start Guide ≥ T o listen to the TV audio on t he sound system, connect the optical digital audio cable, HDMI § ca ble or audio cable. Refer to the operating inst ructions of the respective devices for the settings necessary to output the audio.
8 RQTX1326 Conserving power The main unit consumes a small amount of power , even when it is in standby mode (approx. 0.4 W). T o save power when the unit is not to be used for a long time, unplug it f rom the household AC outlet. Y ou will need to reset some memory items when plugging back the main unit.
