18 Auto clock setting The Auto Clock feature enables the automatic clock setting and updating, and also to set the T ime Zone and Daylight Saving Time by receiving XDS (Extended Data Service) information carried on the channel signal. Press VCR MENU .
19 Daylight Saving T ime setting Repeat the step 1 on page 18 and press SET + or – to select “DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME” option, then press ENTER . 1 2 Press SET + or – to select “ON” or “OFF”, then press ENTER . Y ou can set the Daylight Saving Time “ON” or “OFF”.

21 Setting the video channel / Setting the language T o view playback of a recorded tape or DVD disc, or to watch a program selected by the VCR's channel selector , the TV must be set to channel 3 or 4 (video channel). NOTE: When shipped from factory , the video channel is set to CH 3.
22 3 T uner setting This DVD/VCR is equipped with a channel memory feature which allows channels to skip up or down to the next channel set into memory , skipping over unwanted channels. Before selecting channels, they must be programmed into the DVD/VCR’s memory .

On the screen, changes to “Reading” and then playback will commence. • A menu screen may appear on the TV screen, if the disc has a menu feature. 38 1 NOTE: Y ou can use the Pause, Slow, Search or Skip feature in the zoom mode. This unit will allow you to zoom in on the frame image. You can then make selections by switching the position of the frame. In the zoom mode press ZOOM repeatedly to return to a 1:1 view ( Off).
