14 Using the T elephone Making a Call Pre-Dialling Post-Dialling • When using Pre-Dialling : If you need to make a correction while entering the phone number, press . The digit is cleared to the left, then you can ent er numbers. All dig its are cleared if you press and hold .
15 Cordless Telephone Using the Te lephone Receiver (or Headset Rece iver)/Speaker Volume The choices for the receiver (or headset receiver) v olume are 3 levels, and 6 levels for the speakerphone volume.
16 Using the T elephone Key Lock You can lock the handset dial ling buttons. Only incoming c alls are accepted while the key lock is ON. When the k ey lock is ON, the menu icon changes to . When the key lock is ON, emergency cal ls cannot be made u ntil key lock is cancelled.

20 List Menu Call er ID List Men u You can save the numbers from the Caller ID list into the Phonebook, and you can edit (for calling) or delete item(s) in the Caller ID List. To exit the operation, press at any time. • If the items are scrolled at the end when you search for the desired item, an end tone sounds.

33 Cordless Telephone SMS Feature (T ext Message) Entering Text in LetterWise ® Mode LetterWise ® is the default input mode. LetterWise ® is a simplified text entry system. This system suggests to the user the most likely letter to follow the text entered previously.

This al lows you to delete automatically the PBX line access number (max. 4 digits) when you enter the destination phone number of an SMS outgoing message from Phonebook, Redial or Caller ID lists.
