G e t t i n g S t a r t e d • Installing C amera Batteri es: 1. Slide open the battery compartment cov er. 2. Insert batt eries. Be sur e to load batt eries with + and – t erminals as shown on the camera. 3. Slide close the bat tery compartment cover .
Note: 1. If the SD card is present in t he camera, a nd then the picture/ vide o will sav e in the SD card. If no card is install ed, the camera uses internal memory . 2. If the “MEMOR Y FULL” warn ing message appears on t he TFT p anel, it means the SD card or inter nal memory is f ull.
3. Push the joystick let or rig ht to select [Date Only ] or [ Date&T ime] 4. Press the M enu button to exit the menu. • Power Saving: The camera will a u tomatically power off approximately 30 SEC,1MIN, 3 MIN, 5MIN (selectable) after you do not perfor m any operati on.

R e v i e w i n g P i c t u r e s a n d V i d e o s • Reviewing Pictures 1. Turn on the camera. 2. Slide the Funct ion switch to ► (playback status). The last pict ure or video is di splayed. 3. Push the j oystick left or right to select the pi cture or video (If the icon app ears on the TFT panel) you w ant to review .
• Using Slide Show Use the Sli de Show feature to sequentially display your pict ures and videos o n the cam era TFT panel. 1. Make sure the Fu nction switch is set to ► , and then pr ess the Menu button. 2. Push the joystick up or dow n to select [Slide Show ] on the sc reen and then press the OK button.
3. Push the j oystick up or down to select [Print ] on the screen and push the joy stick left or right to select ON/OFF . 4. Press the Mode or Menu button to return to play back status. And you will see the icon appears on t he TF T p anel if you c hoose ON.
Note: 1. If all files (Photo s and video clips) ar e erased, the message “No Im age” appears on the TFT . 2. Files that are eras ed cannot be recov ered. Make sure y ou have selected the images you want to e rase. 3. Files that have been protected (s ee the follow ing section) cannot b e erased ev en if “Delete All” is selected .

Press the Menu button can turn O N/OFF functio n menu. Push t he joystick u p and down t o select items, push the jo ystick lef t and right to enter each item.
[White Balance] When the w hite balance is se t to match the li ght source, the camera can take pictur e more accurately . Auto The camera se ts the white balance aut omatically acc ording to shootin g conditio ns. Sunny Use when sh ooting at out doors in sunli g ht on a cl ear day.
[Self timer] OFF Setting the timer of f. 10 SEC Setting the tim er in self-timer t o 10 second. 15 SEC Setting the tim er in self-timer t o 15 second. 20 SEC Setting the tim er in self-timer t o 20 second. [Time S tamp] OFF Do not print ti me on the pic ture.
[Date & T ime Setting] Push the joy stick up and down to adjust the date and time. Push the joy stick left and righ t to adv ance to the next setting.
[Format Storage] Press OK to turn on the subm enu and then follow p age 16 to format the flash memory or SD card . [TV Outp ut] Press ◄ or ► to set the TV Output . NTSC Setting the TV Output to NTSC. PAl Setting the TV Output to P AL. [A uto P owe r O ff ] Push the joy stick left and righ t to set the tim e of auto power of f .
[Default Se tting] Press OK button to turn o n the submenu and th en press OK button ag ain to confirm or press Menu button not to ret urn to default setti ng. [System Info.] Press OK button to see the v ersion and then press Menu button return to main men u.
[Delete] : Delete item all ow user to delete curr ent or all the stored image s from the memory . Delete One to delete ( erase) curr ent picture or video . Delete A ll to delete (erase) all pict ures or video s. Format to format the flash memory or SD card.
U n i n s t a l l i n g S o f t w a r e Following instr uction will g uide you t o uninsta ll (remove) sof tware from computer. • Uninstalling S oft ware 1. Click "S tart" from the t ask bar and choose "Settings" -> "Control P anel".
The options are Play , Find/Fix/Share Images, Open folders to v iew files, take n o action, Copy images t o a folder o n my computer , V iew a slide show of image s, and etc. Please select one of them and click on “OK”. For Windows 2000/ ME/98: Double click on “My computer”, and t hen double click on Rem ovable Disk (i:) in the DCIM fil es.
