2 CONNECTING AC POWER Plug the cl ock radio’s power cord i nt o a standard AC outlet. The display flashes 12:0 0 until you set the t ime. INST ALLING A BACK-UP BA TTER Y Your clock radio h as a back- up power system tha t operates the clock and alarm during a power failure.
3 SETTI NG THE TIME 1. While h olding dow n TIME , press HOUR . The hour digits advan ce by 1 with each press. (Hold down HOUR t o continuous ly advance the di gits .) Note : Th e PM indicator app ears on the bo ttom left corn er of the disp lay if you set the tim e to a PM hour .

6 To set a playing t ime between 1 ho ur and 1 hour a nd 59 m inutes: 1. Hold down SLEEP . 0: 59 appears on the display . 2. While you hold SLEEP , press HOUR once. T he time o n the d is- play increases to 1 hour , 59 min- utes. 3. While you conti nue t o hold down SLEEP , press MI NUTE to h ave the minute d igits decrease by 1 with each press.
