Throttle Control Lever The throt tle contro l lever is loc ated on the ri ght side of the trac tor ’ s dash pane l. This leve r controls the spe ed of the e ngine and, o n some mo dels, wh en pushe d all the way for ward , the choke control a lso. When se t in a given pos ition, the th rottle w ill maintai n a uniform e ngine sp eed.
Deck Lif t Lev er Found on yo ur trac tor’s right fend er , the deck l if t lever is used to change th e height of the c uttin g deck . T o use, move the lever to the lef t , then pla ce in the notch best su ited for your a pplicati on. Brake P edal The br ake peda l is located o n the right sid e of the lawn tra ctor, along the runn ing boar d.
PTO ( Blade Enga ge ) If the P TO light illuminates wh en atte mpting to sta rt th e trac tor’s engin e, move PTO lever into the disen gaged (OFF) p osition.
