T ake it with you when you move, a n d should you sell this appliance or pass it on to another party , make sure that this booklet is supplied along with the appliance so that the new owner can become familiar with the appliance and safety warnings.
3 1 . General The appliance is designed for mounting at a safe level into an open housing which must be secured to the backing wall. 2. Oven Housing Cabinets ● The oven unit housing cabinet dimensions must comply with Fig. 4 ( see Installation Diagrams ).

5 For y our Saf ety Please read thr ough before operating your appliance. Alwa ys ● Have your appliance installed by a competent engineer or electrical contractor . ● Ensure the appliance has been pr operly earthed. ● Remove all transportation packing from inside the oven/grill before switching on for the first time.

The MUL TIFUNCTION selector is used when operating the main oven. With the exception of the ‘O’ position the main oven pilot light will remain on when this selector is used. Many of the functions will also r equire you to set the MAIN O VEN TEMPERA TURE before the oven will heat up.
8 GB 5. We advise dishes containing left over cooked poultry or meat, for example Shepherds Pie, should not be cooked automatically if there is to be a delay period. 6. Stews and joints should be cooked by the long slow method, so that the delay period is kept to a minimum.
9 A uto cooking programme: Cook P eriod button Cook period is the actual length of time for which the timer will switch the oven(s) on as part of an ‘Auto Cooking’ programme. For example: If you set 2 hours, the food will be cooked for 2 hours. End Time button The time of day at which you want an ‘Auto Cooking’ programme to end.
10 GB Step 1 Ensure the time of day is set corr ectly . Step 2 Press and hold the Minute Minder button. Step 3 With the Minute Minder button held in, set the requir ed Minute Minder period using the ‘+’ and ‘-’ buttons. A ‘bell’ symbol will light up.
11 Step 3 Press and hold in the Cook Period button. The display will read 0.00 with the ‘cookpot’ symbol lit. Step 4 With the Cook Period button still held in, set the requir ed Cook Period period using the ‘+’ and ‘-’ buttons.
12 GB NOTE: The Cookpot symbol disappears ( b ) T o set the Timer to switch ON immediately and OFF automaticall y after a set cook period: Step 1 Check that the correct time of day is set, if not follow instructions for ‘Setting the Time of Day’. Step 2 Place food onto the correct shelf position in the oven(s) and close the door(s).
13 Using y our Ovens T op oven Grilling in the top oven ! Keep young children away fr om the appliance when the grill is in use as the surfaces get extremely hot.

The top oven can be used to cook small quantities of food or used in conjunction with the main oven to provide additional cooking space so often necessary when entertaining.

18 GB Main Oven Fan grilling Fan grilling is a combination of heat from the grill element and the oven fan circulating the hot air around the food. Joints of meat and poultry will be browned as if they were cooked on a r otisserie or spit but more economically as the door is left closed.

20 GB Cooking in the Main oven Fan onl y ! Do not turn the oven ther mostat control on. ! Do not defrost meat or poultry by warming the food through. The main oven has a fan only position which can be used to assist defrosting by cir culating unheated air around the food.
21 GB Fan o ven The oven is heated by elements at the rear of the oven. A fan at the rear of the oven operates to cir culate heated air within the oven. ! Never line the shelves, floor or the sides of the oven with aluminium foil as overheating and damage may result.

25 GB Circulaire r oasting Food is placed on the roasting rack, this allows the oven fan to circulate the hot air ar ound the food - making it suitable for thin foods, such as chops, steaks, sausages as well as meat joints and poultry as it will cook both sides at the same time.
26 GB Slow Cook setting Y our multifunction oven has a slow cooking facility . This is used for slow cooking, keeping food warm and warming plates for shor t periods. Some adv antages of Slow Cooking are... ● The oven stays cleaner because there is less splashing.

Care and Cleaning 28 GB Cleaning the main oven Remove the rod shelves and meat pan. Use a fine steel wool soap pad to remove stubborn stains from the rod shelves, meat pan and the floor of the oven. Refer to the instructions below for cleaning the oven liners.
29 GB ● T ake particular care not to damage the inner surface of the door inner glass that is coated with a heat reflective layer . ! Do not use scouring pads, or abrasive cleaners / powder , which will scratch the glass. Ensure that the glass panel is not subjected to any sharp mechanical blows.
