10 2.3 Configure the IP Address of Y our C omputer In order to communicate with this W ireless Router , you have to configure the IP address of your computer to make it comp at ible with the device. Note: The router supports DHC P server and it is enabled as default.

20 It em s Information Fragment Threshold This value should remain at i ts default setting of 2346. I f you experience a high packet error ra te, you may slightly i ncrease your fragmentation thres hold within the value ran ge of 256 to 2346. Setting the fragmentation threshold too low m ay result in poor performance.
21 It em s Information Select SSID Please choose a SSID you hav e set fo r this router in the W ireless > Basic Set tings from t he d rop - down list. The SSID wil l be shown on the wireless network for recognizing. Encryption There are 5 modes for you to select: Disable, W EP , W P A, WP A2, and W P A 2- Mi xed.

It is a protocol for assigning dyna mic IP addresses “automatically ”. This field asks you to sp ecify the DHCP Client IP addr ess r ang e (default 10 0~ 200).
