4: Configuration Using Web-Ma nager UDS1100 User Guide 26 MTU Size The Maximum T ransmission Unit (MTU) is the largest phys ical packet size a network can transmit for TCP and UDP. Enter between 512 and 1400 bytes. The default se tting is 1400 bytes. 3.

8: Setup Mode: Advanced Settings UDS1100 User Guide 55 ARP Cache timeout in seconds Whenever the unit communicate s with another device on the network, it adds an entry into its ARP table. The ARP Cache timeout option allows you to define ho w many seconds (1-600) the unit will wait bef ore timing out this table.

We reco mmend that you set security over the dedicated network or over the serial setup to preve nt eavesdropping.

The Y (Yes) option disables the use of TFTP to perform network firmware u pgrades.
