11 Recording Close-up Subjects (Macro Recording ) Macro recor ding is use d when the s ubject is within a di stance rang e of betwee n 30 cm and 60 cm from the lens. Us e the LCD monitor for macro recor ding as the re cording rang e and the fiel d of view in the viewfinder do not matc h.

15 Changing the Brightness of Images (EXPOSURE) The exposure can be compensa ted to intent ionally br ighten or da rken the over all recorded image. The camera expo sure can b e adjust ed up to ±1 .5 at 0.5 intervals . 1 Display the REC me nu. 2 Use the / butt on to select (EXPOSURE).
16 Setting the Sharpness of the Image (SHARPNESS) The contour s of images can be sharpened or softened. 1 Display the REC me nu. 2 Use the / butt on to select (SETUP). 3 Press the SET button. The SETUP screen ap pears. 4 Use the / butt on to select (SHARPNESS).

26 Transferring Recorded Images • To transfer recorded imag es to your PC, th e USB mode should be set to “MSDC” in t he REC menu. • Do not disco nnect the US B cable or open the batter y cover while t he camera is co nnected t o the PC.
