15 Precautions f or Installation Installing the Pr ojector Please read the f ollowing properly when installing the projector . Installation En vironment Please do not install or use this pr ojector in the follow- ing places. The projector is a precision de vice and do- ing so could cause a fire or malfunction.

17 Pr ojection Distance and Screen Size • This projector uses 1.3x manual z oom lens for projection. • The range of projection while retaining good f ocus is approximately 1.6m to appro ximately 12m when the aspect ratio of the screen is 4:3. Install the projector within this range.

37 Adjustment and Setting Using Menus 3 “Set up” menu Use this menu to set the basic T rac king and P ositioning settings of a picture image. Items that can be adjusted via the “Set up” menu are shown belo w . • Adjustment items diff er depending on whether Video input or PC input is selected.
38 “Clamp” This can be used if the screen of the PC/ wor kstation is unstable in that it dims and brightens. Set the position of the clamp pulse to Back porch (“BP”) or Sync tip (“ST”).
