For example, the stations send their station names, as well as information about what type of program they broadcast, suc h as sports or music, etc.
– 13 – English Switching to a Program T ype of Y our Choice T emporarily By recei ving EON data sent by FM RDS stations, the EON function allo ws the unit to switch temporarily to a broadcast program of your choice (T A, NEWS, and INFO) from a dif ferent station.
