6 English Getting Started Supplied Accessories Make sure that you ha ve all the follo wing items. The number in parentheses indicates the quantity of each piece supplied.
7 English 1 If the cords are co vered with insulation, r emove a short section of insulation at the end of each cord by twisting and pulling it off. 2 Press and hold the clamp of the AM LOOP terminals on the rear of the unit. 3 Insert the AM loop antenna to the AM LOOP terminals as illustrated.
8 English T o connect a center speaker and surround speakers By connecting a center speaker to the CENTER SPEAKER jack and surround speakers to the SURR OUND SPEAKERS jacks, you can enjoy multi-channel Surround modes. 9 English Connecting Other Equipment Y ou can connect other equipment such as a digital decoder to reproduce multi-channel sounds or audio equipment which can be used as a playback de vice. When you connect and use such equipment, refer also to its manual.

15 English T urning On the Power Press ST ANDBY/ON (or on the front panel). The ST ANDBY lamp goes off. “PO WER ON” appears on the display . T o turn off the unit (standby), press ST ANDBY/ON (or on the front panel) again. The ST ANDBY lamp lights up.
16 English Reinforcing the Bass Sound These function only affect the pla yback sound, but does not affect your recording. 7 T o enjoy heavy sound Y ou can enjoy hea vy sound by using Sound T urbo. This function boosts the lo w and high frequency sound.
17 English Creating Y our Own Sound Mode — User Mode Y ou can change the SEA pattern to suit your preference. The SEA pattern can be adjusted using 3 frequency ranges—B ASS, MID (middle), and TRE (treble). These changed settings can be stored as the USER 1, USER 2, and USER 3 modes.
