Befor e using your dishwasher f or the first time: 1. Ensure that the electrical and water connections compl y with the installation instructions 2. Remov e all packaging fr om inside the a ppliance 3. Set the water softener 4. P our 1 litr e of water inside the salt container and then fill with dishwasher salt 5.
Filling with dishwasher salt Only use salt specifically designed f or use in dishwashers. All other types of salt not specifically designed for use in a dishwasher , especially table salt, will damag e the water softener . Only fill with salt just befor e star ting one of the complete washing pro grammes.
Rinse aid Rinse aid is automatically added during the last rinse, ensuring thorough rinsing, and spot and str eak free drying. The dispenser , which is positioned inside the door , holds about 110 ml of rinse aid, which is sufficient for 16 - 40 dishwashing programmes, depending upon the dosage setting.

Detergent tab lets Detergent tablets of differ ent brands dissolve at diff erent speeds. For this reason some detergent tablets cannot dissolve and de velop their full cleaning power during short programmes. Ther efore please use long pr ogrammes when using detergent tablets, to ensure the complete remo val of detergent residuals.

9. Unloading the dishwasher Hot dishes are sensitiv e to knocks. The dishes should theref ore be allo wed to cool do wn befor e remo ving fr om the appliance. Empty the low er bask et first and then the upper one; this will a void water dripping from the upper bask et onto the dishes in the low er one.
Clean the external surfaces of the machine and control panel with a damp soft cloth. If necessar y use only neutral detergents. Never use abrasiv e products, scouring pads or solvent (acetone, trichloroeth ylene etc ....). Ensure that the seals ar ound the door , the detergent and rinse aid dispensers are cleaned r egularly with a damp cloth.

W ater supply connections This dishwasher ma y be fed with either hot (max. 60°) or cold water . Nev er theless we advise y ou a cold water supply . A hot water supply is not alwa ys efficient with very soiled crock er y as it shortens the washing programmes a lot.
Electrical connection This appliance must be earthed. The manufactur er declines any r esponsibility should this safety measur e not be obser v ed. If the plug that is fitted to your a ppliance is not suitable for the sock et, it must be cut off and the appr opriate plug fitted.
T esting in accordance with EN 60704 must be carried out with appliance fully loaded and using the test pr ogramme (see "W ashing pr ogrammes" chart).
