If y our water is e xtr emely “hard”, it is pr eferable t o fill half-wa y with hard wat er and the rest of the w ay with soft ened water . Or , you ma y fill entir ely with har d wat er if you use a special w ater additiv e av ailable from y our Jacuzzi Pr emium dealer.

Simply turn massage selector t o position A (Combo), B , or C to div er t wat er pressur e to v arious jet gr oups . Note: The v alve is designed to oper ate in positions A (Combo), B , and C for optimum per for- mance.
Both speak ers located on spa corners (Sec. 8.2, page 1 5) ar e designed for manual e xtension and r etr action. T o e xpose each speaker for audio , simply pr ess it’s release butt on to unlatch the “pop-up” mechanism.

*Note: t o maximize filt er life, switch filter car tridge positions at each cleaning . P eriodically , both filter car tridges will need a more thor ough cleaning to r emov e imbedded oils and minerals.

The fr e- quency depends on a number of variables including the amoun t of use, atten- tion paid to w ater quality main tenance, etc.
11 .3 Cleaning The Spa Interior To preser v e the sheen of y our spa's sur face, it is crucial that y ou av oid using abrasiv e cleaners or cleaners which ha ve adv erse chemical ef fect on the sur face . If you ar e not cer tain as to the suitability of a par ticular cleanser , consult your authoriz ed Jacuzzi Pr emium dealer .
11 .6 Maintaining The W ood C abinet With time and e xposure t o the elements, the wood on y our spa will tend to loose its new appear ance. Prot ecting or re viving the wood sur faces is a fair- ly simple pr ocess .

12 . 1 pH Control pH is a measur e of relativ e acidity or alkalinity of w ater and is measur ed on a scale of 0 to 1 4. The midpoin t of 7 is said to be neutral, abo ve which is alk a- line and below which is acidic. In spa w ater , IT IS VERY IMPORT ANT T O MAINT AIN A SLIGHTL Y ALKALINE CONDITION OF 7.
an ov erheat condition. This setting is not user-pr ogrammable. Note: The summer logic does not tak e ef fect until the spa w ater temper a- tur e reaches 9 5 ° F (3 5 ° C). This condition is mor e likely in e x cessively hot w eather. Remember , the spa’s ability to cool is dir ectly af fect ed by the ambien t temperatur e.
• This err or will cause the heater to deactiv ate. The main pump #1 may also deactivat e . • This pr oblem is caused by an int erruption in water flo w from an ex cessively dir ty filter car tridge, an “air lock” condition at the pump in take, or by a malfunctioning flow switch.
14.0 Troubleshooting Procedures In the e ven t your Jacuzzi® Pr emium spa is not working the w ay it should, please first r evie w all the installation and operating instructions in this manual and check the message on the panel displa y .
