When installed in the chassis, the shield blocks radio frequency transmissions, protects internal components from dust and foreign objects, and promotes correct airflow within the chassis.

43 4 Using the BIOS Setup Program The BIOS Setup program can be used to view and change the BIOS settings for the computer. The BIOS Setup program is accessed by pressing the <F2> key af ter the Power-On Self-T est (POST ) memory test begins and before th e operating system boot begins.
