4 Installation W ARNING – THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EARTHED . Electrical connection Electric cookers come without a power supply cable. The cooker is designed to operate on an electricity supply which conf orms to the elect r ical data shown on the Rating P late .
5 Installation The height of the c ooker can be adjusted by means of adjustable feet in the plinth (900mm - 915mm). Adjust the feet by tilting the co oker from the side. Then install the product into position. NO TE: This appliance must not be fitted on a pla tform.

10 Use of Hotplates Note: Under no circumstances should the hob be used with aluminium foil in contact with the hob sur fa c e. The controls set the hotplates a t six pre-set power le vels. Each control can b e used t o select one of six temperature settings from a minimum at position 1 to a maximum at position 6.

12 Hotplates General Informa tion Notes Do Not Do not cook directly on the hob sur face without a co ok ing utensil, as this will r esult in damage to the sur fac e of the hob. Do not use the hob as a worktop surface as damage may occur to the smooth sur face of the hob .
13 Choosing Y our Utensils Do not use utensils with rough bases. Do not use light w eight utensils with thin, dist or ted or uneven bases. Do not use lightweight enamelled steel utensils. Do not use c ast ir on utensils. Do not use utensils with recessed, scrolled or ridged bases.

20 Care and Cleaning Electric sealed hotplates The cleaning of sealed hotplates should be done when they are cold , using a soap filled Brillo pad, following the gr ain of the hotplate. This will ensur e tha t an y stubborn, burnt on spillages ar e removed .
