T urning on and off Press and hold the [Power] button for 3 seconds to turn on the Omnia. It may t ak e a f ew momen ts for the Omnia to turn on and loadi ng the c onten t. If the Omni a does not turn on, c harging is requ ired. To turn off the Omnia, press and h old [Power] button for 3 seconds.
Inserting a Memory Car d The Omnia suppo rts Micro S D cards in both FAT and NTFS file system. NTFS is needed to copy fil e with size larger tha n 4GB. To insert a Memory car d: Check that the micro SD card is in the correct position with the contact pin facing upwards as illustrated below.

Importing and transferring content Importing Con tent The Omnia support s the USB Mas s Storage Device function. To import contents (ebooks, video, audio, photo et c) in to the Omnia, connect the Omnia t o PC via the suppl ied USB cable. Upon successful connection to P C, the Omnia will enter USB mode and all ope ration will be h alted.
Enter your email ad dress and complet e the online form as per instructed. Authorizati on Upon registratio n, return to the ADE window. E nter the username and password to activate your Adobe account . After activation, connect t he Omnia to PC.
Note s on using A dobe Digit al E ditions (ADE) Each ADE ID supports only 6 devices, this includes the m aster device (the Omnia) a nd the slave d evice (SD card). When the Omnia is restor ed to default settings, ALL DRM activation record and data (including DRM books purchased) will be erased from the Omnia.
To request for extension and r eset of your ADE ID, go to http://www.adobe.co m/support /digitaledi tions/ [Submit a web case]. You are r equired to k ey in your ADE ID info. Reading books Opening Books Books transf erred to Omnia will b e listed in Home Me nu.
T urning a pag e While read ing a book, press the <Next Page> or < Directiona l-Right> button t o turn to next p age. To turn to pre vious page, pr ess <Previous Page> or <Di rectional-Left> button. Adjusti ng Fon t Siz e While r eading, pr ess the <Z oom> button to enter the font size menu.
Move the c ursor to the desi red zoom leve l and press <O K>. In zoom mode, use <Directional> but tons to pan across the zoomed page. Page turning is di sabled in zoom mode . Press <Return> to exit the zoom mode and return to the original size and r esume normal boo k reading funct ions.
Deleting a Book mark Turn to the bookmarked page that needs to be deleted. Press <Menu> and move the curso r to <Delete Bookmark >. Press <OK> to confirm. Alternatively, y ou can delete a bookmark f rom the B ookmark List. In the Bookmark l ist, press <Menu> and select [Delete] to delete selecte d bookmark.
Opening a bookma rk in the Curr ent Book While reading the book, press <Menu> and select [B ookmarks] to enter i nto Bookmark List. In the Bookmark List , move the cursor to the des ired page an d press <O K> to open.
Book Infor mation You can check the inf ormation of the current boo k from the [ Book Information] option. This will show (when saved in the original content of the book by the publisher): Title, Author, Publisher, File Type, Date added, File size, Publisher and Expiration.
In landscape v iew, the Option Menu is divided into 2 pages. To access options in the second page, mov e the cursor to [More> ] icon at t he top right cor ner of the Option Menu and then e nter.
To remove boo ks from the Fav orites: 1. Enter the Favor ite List from the Home menu. Move the cursor to the d esired book title. Press <Menu> button and select [De lete] from the dropdown list. 2. While reading a book, pr ess the <Menu> button and select [Remove fro m Favorite] fr om the Option Menu.
Using the Opt ion Menu in t he Music Play er EQ settings – move the curso r to [EQ Settings] , press [Left] or [Ri ght] button to sele ct desired EQ mode.
Playing video From the Home Menu , open the Opt ion menu and selec t ‘Video ’ to enter into the vide o library. In the video library move the cursor to your desired video file and press <O K> to start playi ng.
T o Display Subt itles dur ing V ideo Playback The Omnia support s subtitle of sub, ssa, srt, lrc f ormat. The file name of the subtitle m ust be identical to that of the video file. The subtitle will be load ed automatically during video pl ayback.
Zoom In/Out Pi cture There are 3 zoom lev el s available. T o zoom in while in full screen mode, press the <Zoom> butto n to change differ ent zoom level. To re turn to original size, press t he <R eturn> button to resume normal oper ation.
Copy / Pa st e files You can copy files/folde rs from SD card to the internal memory and wise versa . From the file list, move the cursor to the desired file to copy. Click <Menu> and select [Copy]. From the explorer, g o to the desired directory to store the copied file.
Settings T ime & Date To set the clock and date, press the <Directio nal Left/Right> buttons to move the cursor. Press the < Directional Up/Do wn> buttons to input value. Time zone setting is needed to calculate the expiry duration for book borrowing / r eturning.
About Product Displays product informati on of the Omnia. Power Manage ment Displays real time batter y status of the Omnia. Res tore F act ory Defa ult s To restor e the Omnia ’s sett ings to defaults. All settings will be restored. All DR M contents and activation will be deleted.
User ’ s Manual Opens the user manual on t he Omnia. Troubleshooting If the Omnia does no t function as it is expected, please try the followi ng steps. The Omnia is not res ponding or can’t be turned on. Reset the Omnia by pressing and holding the power button for 6 seconds.
Ejec t the Omni a from computer to resume operat ion. To u se the Omni a while charging, cl ick on the [Safely Remove Hardware] icon located on the left lower cor ner to disconnec t data conne ction with comput er. After the Omnia is safely removed, comput er will o nly charge the Omnia and y ou can now resume no rmal operat ion.
On Cleaning and M aintenance If the Omnia does get we t, turn it off immediately. Wait for it t o dry comple tely before t urning on again. Clean the screen wit h a soft cloth; be careful not to wipe it with anything abr asive.
