9-18 110907 01/09 Deck belt replacement 1. Park the unit o n a flat surface. S top the engine and re move the ignition key . Make sure deck clutch switch is in the down (OFF) position . Place control levers in th e park brake position. Disconnect nega tive battery cable.
110907 01/09 9-19 3. The deck belt must be remo ved from the clutc h pulley first by releasing the deck belt tension by pulling on the belt tension chain and sliding the ch ain out of the anchor bracke t slot. This will relieve the tension on the deck belt idler spring (FIG .

Blade Lock T ool, part num ber 381442, is available from your dealer to prevent the blade s from turning while removing or and inst alling the blade bolts.
9-22 110907 01/09 Adjustment Introduction Y our FasTrak Super Du ty 48/54 was adjusted before it lef t the factory and was checked during pre delivery setup. However , after start-up and continued use, a certain amount of break-in wear will cause some adjustments to change.

Howe ver , should the tractor begin to cr eep, the control lever linkage can be adjusted as follows: CONTROL LEVER NEUTRAL ADJUSTMENT Before considering any adjustment, check the tire air pressure. Unequal tire pres sure will cause the tractor to drift to one side.
