ENWW 27 Check the printhead initialization When pr inthead s ar e install ed or r eplaced, the pr inter automa tically prints an ali gnment page to align the p rinth eads. Th is pr ocess t akes a bout s even mi nutes . Until this proc ess is complete , only the aut omatic alig nment p age ca n be prin ted.

ENWW 31 Poor print quality an d unexpected printouts Check the printheads and ink cartridge s Replace a ny clog ged or worn pr inthea ds or lo w ink cartr idges ( see M aintai ning the printhea ds ), and try to print a gain. Check the paper quality The pape r might b e too mo ist o r too rough.
