2 - 1 2 Input/Output Settings Good Read and Err or Indicators Beeper – Good Read The beeper may be prog rammed On or Off in response to a g ood read. T u rning this optio n off , only tur ns off the beeper re sponse to a good read indication. All error and menu beeps are still a udible .
2 - 2 Manual T rigger Mode When in manual trigge r mode, the scanner scans until a bar code is read, or until the tri gger is released. Norm al mode off ers good scan spee d and the lon- gest working ranges (depth of field). Default = Manual T r igger-Nor mal.
2 - 3 In the e xample below , the white box i s t he centering window . The centerin g win- dow has been set to 2 0% left, 30% r ight, 8% top, and 25% bottom. Since Bar Code 1 passes through the ce ntering window , it will be read. Bar Code 2 does not pass through the center ing window , so it will not be rea d.
2 - 4 Preferred Symbology The sled can be programmed to specify one symbology as a higher pri ority ov er other symbologies in situ ations where both bar code symbologies appear on the same label, but the low er pr iority symbolog y cannot be disabled.
2 - 5 Scan a bar code below to enable or disable Pref erred Symbolo gy . Default = Preferred Symbology Off . High Priority Symbology T o specify the high prior ity symbology , scan the High Pr iority Symbology bar code below .
