Y ou should not encounter difficulty if you use an HDMI cable that is shorter than 16.

22 Setting up y our TV The ST AR TING SETUP f eature appears the first time you turn on the TV , and helps you select the menu language , specify the AIR/ CABLE setting, and program channels automatically . IMPORT ANT : Make sure that the antenna or cable TV system is connected.
