7 1. Make sure that the power cord is unplugged. Place a piece of cardboard below the rear of the Frame (57) to protect the floor or carpet. Attach the Left Wheel Cap (92) to the Base (91) with two #8 x 3/4" Screws (2). Attach the Right Wheel Cap (not shown) to the right side of the Base (91) in the same way.

10 8. Set the console assembly on the brackets on the Left and Right Uprights (88, not shown). Be careful not to pinch any wires. Attach the console assembly with four 5/16" x 1 1/4" Patch Screws (4) and four 5/16" Star Washers (11) (only one side is shown).
1 1 10. With the help of a second person, hold the Pulse Bar Top (86) near the Pulse Bar Bottom (87). Insert the pulse wire from the Pulse Bar Top into the hole in the top of the Pulse Bar Bottom and pull it out of the hole in the Pulse Bar Bottom.

13 14. Firmly tighten the two 5/16" x 1 1/2" Patch Bolts (15). Then, firmly tighten the sixteen Patch Bolts (5, 7, 8, 14) (only one side is shown). Press the Right and Left Base Covers (84, not shown) onto the Base (91) until they snap into place.
14 15. IMPOR TANT: S ee page 17 and pl ug in the power cord. Next, see page 19 and turn on the power. S ee pa ge 29 ; follow steps 1 through 3 to cal- ibrate the incline of the treadmill. When the frame stops moving, remove the k ey from the console and unplug the power cord.

16 HOW TO PUT ON THE CHEST PULSE SENSOR The chest pulse sensor consists of two components: the chest strap and the sensor unit. Insert the tab on one end of the chest strap into the hole in one end of t he sensor unit, as shown in the inset drawing. Press the end of the sensor unit under the buckle on the chest strap.
17 OPERA TION AND ADJUSTMENT T HE PRE-LUBRICATED WALKING BELT Your treadmill features a walking belt coated with high- performance lubricant. IMPORTANT: Never apply sil- i cone spray or other substances to the walking belt or the walking platform. Such substances will cause excessive wear.
18 FEATURES OF THE CONSOLE The treadmill console offers an impressive array of features designed to make your workouts more effec- tive and enjoyable. The console features revolutionary iFit Live technology that enables the treadmill to com- municate with your wireless network.
19 HOW TO TURN ON THE POWER IMPORTANT: If the treadmill has been exposed to c old temperatures, allow it to warm to room tem- perature before you turn on the power. If you do n ot do this, you may damage the console display or other electrical components.
20 The browser will open to the iFit.com home page. Touch the Register Now button in the upper-right corner of the screen. The browser will open to the iFit.com registration p age. Touch an entry box to view the keyboard. Slide your finger up or down the screen to scroll up or down the page.
21 4. Change the incline of the treadmill as desired. To change the incline of the treadmill, press the I ncline increase and decrease buttons or one of the numbered Quick Incline/Decline buttons. Each t ime you press one of the buttons, the incline will gradually change until it reaches the selected in- cline setting.
22 6. Measure your heart rate if desired. Note: If you use the handgrip pulse sensor and t he chest pulse sensor at the same time, the console will not display your heart rate accu- r ately. For information about the chest pulse sen- sor, see page 16.
23 HOW TO USE AN ONBOARD WORKOUT 1. Insert the key into the console. See step 1 on page 20. 2. Select the main menu. See step 2 on page 20. 3. Select an onboard workout.
24 Note: The calorie goal is an estimate of the number of calories that you will burn during the workout. The actual number of calories that y ou burn will depend on your weight. In addi- tion, if you manually change the speed or in- c line of the treadmill during the workout, the number of calories you burn will be affected.
25 When you select an iFit Live workout, the screen will show the name, duration, and distance of the workout. The screen will also show the approxi- m ate number of calories you will burn during the workout. If you select a competition workout, the d isplay will count down to the beginning of the race.
26 HOW TO USE THE INTERNET BROWSER Note: To use the browser, you must have access to a w ireless network including an 802.11b/n router with SSID broadcast enabled (hidden networks are not sup- p orted). To open the browser, touch the globe button near the lower left corner of the screen.
27 HOW TO USE THE SETTINGS MODE The console features a settings mode that allows you t o connect the treadmill to your own wireless network and to log in to your iFit Live account. The settings m ode also allows you to select the unit of measure- ment and to turn on and turn off the display demo mode.
28 3. Log in to your iFit Live account. To log in to a different iFit Live account, touch the i Fit Live Login button. Then, enter your user name and password using the keyboard on the screen. S ee step 2 on page 27 for instructions about using the keyboard.
29 HOW TO USE THE MAINTENANCE MODE The console features a maintenance mode that allows y ou to calibrate the incline and speed of the treadmill, update the console firmware, calibrate the screen, v iew technical information, and perform a network test.
30 Note: If you cannot update the console firmware over your wireless network, you can update the firmware using a USB drive. Touch the USB button t o install firmware updates using a USB drive. Go to www.iFit.com and download the firmware update o nto your USB drive.
31 HOW TO USE THE STEREO SOUND SYSTEM To play music or audio books through the consoleʼs s peakers, you must connect your MP3 player, CD player, or other personal audio player to the console. Locate the audio wire. Plug one end into the audio jack on the side of the console.

34 Locate the Reed Switch (55) and the Magnet (54) on the left side of the Pulley (53). Turn the Pulley until the Magnet is aligned with the Reed Switch.
35 SYMPTOM: The walking belt is off-center or slips when walked on a . If the walking belt is off-center, first remove the key and UNPLUG THE POWER CORD.
