29 Memory Installation / Removal The motherboard support s DDR3 memory modules, whereby BIOS will automatically detect memory capacity and spe cification s . Memory mo dules are designed so that they can be inserted only in one direction. The memory capacity used can dif fer with each slot.

31 Hard Disk Drive In stallation / Removal Below is the instruction of HDD installation and remo val SOP. 1. Open the side cover. 2. Press the release b utton and pull the blank out of the dr ive bay. 3. Slide hard disk into blank. 4. Make sure the HDD is s eated secure ly in the HDD blank.
32 Power supply installat ion / Removal The GT115 suppo rts 300 watts and 450 wa tts power supply modules. T he system ships out with only one power supply module installed. Install a hot-swap power supply module 1. Remove the four securing scre ws from the back of system.

34 BIOS Setup System BIOS BIOS setup is a hardware configurat ion program built into the system’s Basi c Input/Output Sy stem (BIOS). Since most systems are alre ady pr operly configu red and optimized , there is no need to r un this utilit y . Y ou will need to run this utilit y under the follo wing cond iti ons.

There are three t ypes of p asswords that you can set: • Administrator password Entering this password will allow the user to a ccess and change a ll settings in the Setup Utility .

58 Troubleshooting Error Symptoms List NOTE: T o diagnose a problem, first find the error sy mptom in the left column. If directed to a check procedure, replace the FRU indicated in the check procedure. If no check pro ce dure i s indicated, the first Action/FRU listed in right column is the most likely cause.
