Y our Espr imo P ... Y our Esprimo P ... Overview ... is available in various con fi gurations that differ in terms of hardware and software. Y ou can incorporate accessible drives (for example a DVD drive) as well as oth er modules. This manual te lls you how to start using your device and how to operate it in daily use.

Depending on th e version, the d evice may be eq uipped with a main power switch on the back of the device in ad dition to the ON/OFF button on the front.

T roubleshooti ng and tips The device cannot be switched off with the O N/OFF switch. Cause Remedy The device has not been switched on with the ON/OFF switch . ► Press the ON/OFF switch again. System crash ► Keep the on/off switch pressed for at least 4 seconds until the machine sw itches off.

Unauthorised opening or incorrect repair may greatly endanger the user (electric shock, fi re risk) and will invalidate your warran ty .
System expansio ns Information about boards T ake care with the locking mechanisms (catches and centring pins) when you are replacing boards or components on boards. Note that some components on th e mainboard may be very hot if the device was in use shortly before the casing w as removed.
