3 • If you are charging the battery f or the first time, inser t a 25 amp fuse into the batter y . Note: The top of the fuse will not be flush with the top of the batter y when proper ly installed. • Fit the charger connector and the battery connector together .
• Fit a round bushing, barrel end first, onto the end of a front axle. Push the round bushing into the wheel. • Fit a cap nut onto the end of the front axle . • T ap the cap nut with a hammer to secure it on the front axle. • Repeat this procedure to secure the other wheel to the other front axle.
• P osition the handle top so that the smooth side is upright. • Inser t the handle top peg into the hole in the side of the vehicle fr ame, near the front end. • Fit the handle top and handle bottom together . • Inser t three screws through the handle top and into the handle bottom.
• T ur n the vehicle fr ame upright. • Fit the steering column (cur ved end down) through the large hole in the cowling and the small rectangular hole in the v ehicle frame. Hint: Bef ore inser ting steer ing column down through this hole, locate the small rectangular hole in the v ehicle frame b y looking through the large hole in the cowling.
• Carefully turn the vehicle frame o ver . • Fit the cur ved end of the steering column through the hole in the steering linkage. Assembly 11 13 Cur ved End of Steering Column Steering Linkage Bottom View • T ur n the vehicle fr ame upright. • Inser t the steer ing column straight end up through the hole in the steering wheel.
• T ur n the vehicle fr ame ov er . • Fit the bub ble b low er connector down through the rectangular hole in the v ehicle body . 18 • Fit the bub ble b low er to the underside of the v ehicle frame , as shown. • Inser t six screws through the bub ble b low er and into the vehicle fr ame.
Assembly 13 21 Note: If you ha v e already charged your P ower Wheels ® 6 V olt (4.0 Amp/Hr .) batter y for at least 18 hours , you ma y want to re-install it into the battery compar tment before assembling the seat to y our vehicle. Please refer to the Batter y Installation section beginning on page 15 for instructions.
14 Proper label application will help to keep the labels looking their best! When applying labels, keep the follo wing guidelines in mind: • W ash your hands bef ore applying the labels. • Before applying the labels , wipe the surf ace of the v ehicle with a clean, dr y cloth to remov e any dust or oils .
• Place the P ower Wheels ® 6 V olt (4.0 Amp/Hr .) battery upright in the batter y compar tment. Make sure the batter y connector extends to ward the rear of the v ehicle. • Make sure a P ower Wheels ® 25 amp fuse , in good condition, is installed in the batter y .
16 Care If a battery leak develops, av oid contact with the leaking acid and place the damaged batter y in a plastic bag. See inf or mation below f or proper disposal. If acid comes in contact with skin or ey es, flush with cool water f or at least 15 minutes and call a physician.

• P our bubb le solution into the bub ble b low er spout to the fill line. If the bubb le blower is ov er-filled, b ubb le solution will run out of the tractor when your child is riding it. Bubblin’ Fun Clean-Up • Alwa ys clean the bub ble b low er bef ore storing it or br inging it indoors. • Reach under the right side of the vehicle and squeez e the two tabs on the reservoir cov er . • Pull the reser voir co ver out to the right of the v ehicle and remov e it.
Bubblin’ Fun Disconnecting the Bubble Blo wer • The bub ble b low er can be disconnected and still allow your child to oper ate the v ehicle. This is recommended f or indoor use. • T o unlock the loc k f astener , use a slotted screwdriver to rotate the lock f astener 1 / 4 turn to the unlock ed posi- tion.
