IMPORTANT A 25 AMP FUSE MUST BE INSTALLED IN TOP OF BATTERY BEFORE TOY WILL RECHARGE OR OPERATE ® • Inser t a P ow er Wheels ® 25 amp fuse into the battery . Note: The top of the fuse will not be flush with the top of the batter y when properly installed.
Assembl y F • P osition the v ehicle body on its side. • Fit the str aight end of the steering column up through the square opening in the vehicle body and out through the large round hole in the dash. Make sure the steer- ing column is positioned between the guides on the underside of the vehic le body .
Assembl y Radio Knobs Activity P anel Shifter • F rom the front of the activity panel, inser t and “ snap ” the radio knobs. • With the wide part of the shifter handle outward, inser t and snap the shifter into the activity panel. • Set the activity panel aside .
Assembl y • Rotate the top of the windshield to ward the front of the vehicle body . • Insert four #8 x 1" scre ws through the holes in the hinge on the windshield and into the vehicle body . • Tighten the scre ws with a Phillips scre wdriver .
Assembl y Hood Grille • Lift the hood. • Fit the tabs at the bottom of the g rille into the slots in the vehicle body . • Press near the top of the g rille to “ snap ” it into the vehicle body . • Lo wer the hood. • Fit the tab on one side of a headlight lens into the notch in the grille.
Assembl y • F ace the back end of the v ehicle . • With the gas cap tether do wnward, insert and “ snap ” the gas cap assembly into the square opening in the bac k end of the vehicle .
Assembl y • F ace the back end of the v ehicle . • Align the holes in the taillight with the holes in the vehicle body . • Insert two #8 x 1" screws through the holes in the taillight and into the vehicle body . • Tighten the scre ws with a Phillips scre wdriver .
Label Decoration G 15 Proper label application will help to keep the labels looking their best! Keep the f ollowing guidelines in mind when applying the labels: • W ash your hands bef ore applying the labels . • Bef ore applying the labels, wipe the surface of the vehicle with a clean, dry cloth to remov e any dust or oils .

Battery Care and Disposal I If a battery leak develops, av oid contact with the leaking acid and place the damaged batter y in a plastic bag. Refer to the inf ormation on this page for proper disposal. If acid comes in contact with skin or eyes, flush with cool water f or at least 15 minutes and call a ph ysician.
