5 Impor tant safet y precautions Isolating switch: make sure this ov en is connected to a circuit which incorporates an isolating switch providing full disconnection from the power supply . Household appliances are not intended to be played with by children.
6 Installation instructions T o build in the double oven Impor tant! If you are planning to install a cooktop directly above the o ven, mak e sure the installation will comply with the cabinetry and ventilation requirements of the cooktop as well as those of the ov en.

The space between the bottom of the door and the low er trim is impor tant for the correct air circulation into the ov en. Ensure the oven sits on w ooden blocks or similar suppor ts when it is removed from the carton as shown in F ig.

18 Aut omatic cooking Use automatic cooking to automatically turn the low er oven on, cook, and then turn the low er oven off . 1 Check the clock shows the c orrec t time. 2 Select the function and temperature. The oven will come on. 3 Decide how long the f ood will take to cook , allowing time f or preheating if necessary .

20 Upper ov en cook ing functions OVEN LAMP Only the oven light comes on. It remains on in all the cooking functions. BAKE The upper and lower heating elements c ome on. BAKE is the traditional method of cooking. It is best to cook on only one shelf at a time in this function.
21 Car e and cleaning Impor tant! Before you start cleaning your oven, please: Read these cleaning instructions and the ‘Safet y and warnings ’ sec tion at the start of this user guide. T urn the oven off at the w all. Make sure the ov en is a sa fe temperature to touch.
22 Cleaning the inside of your ov ens Do not use abrasive cleaners, cloths or pads to clean the enamel . Do not use any ov en cleaners, abrasive cleaners , ammonia-based cleaners, products containing acids or alkalis, or detergents on the catalytic panels (not supplied with all models).
23 Car e and cleaning Cleaning the enamel cavity Clean the enamel on the inside of the oven when it has cooled do wn, using household detergents or an ammonia-based cleaner . Y ou may use ‘ off the shelf ’ oven cleaners , if you carefully follo w the manufacturers’ instructions.
24 Sliding shelf supports (some models only) The telescopic sliding shelf supports can be fitted in the upper or lower ov en. The t elescopic sliding shelf supports make it safer and easier to inser t and remov e the oven shelves and trays. They stop when they are pulled out t o the maximum position.
