32 I/ F m od e You may need to chan ge the I/F mode so that your printer a nd computer can c ommuni cate properly. Auto: printer automatica lly selec ts the interface that is receiving data, and uses that interface until the en d of the print job. A llows you to share the prin ter among multi ple computers w ithout c hanging the interface mode.
33 Soft ware Specifies the type of control codes you want to use to c o ntrol the printer. I f you select ESC/P 2, the printer em ulates an E PSON ESC/P 2 printer. If you select IBM X24E, the printer opera tes as an IBM Proprinter™ X24E. If possible, select EPS ON ESC/P 2 in your app lica tion prog ra ms .
