Installation 3-1 3 Installation This chapter pro vides the instru ctions required to install the 2H258-17R. A Phillips screwdri ver is required to install options into the de vice or inst all the de vice into a rack. Follo w the order of the sections listed belo w to co rrectly install the de vice.
Unpacking the De v ice 3-2 Installation 3.1 UNPAC KING THE DEVICE Unpack the device as follo w s: 1. Open the box and remov e the packing material pro tecting the 2H258-17R. 2. Verify the contents of the carton as listed in Table 3-1 . 3. Remove the tape seal on the non-conductive bag to remove the 2H258-17R.
