Oven Functions Oven function Applic ation Ventitherm ® Fan Operated Cooking For roasting and baking on up to two oven levels at the same time. Rotitherm Ro asting For roasting larger pieces of meat or poultry on one oven level. The function is also suitable for gratinating and browning the top of dishes.
Oven shelf Insert the oven shelf so that the feet point downwards. Push the oven shelf between the guide bars of the selected oven level. The high rim around the oven shelf is an additional device to prevent cookware from slipping off.
1. Switch the oven on using the On/Off button . Press the Baking/Roasting Programmes button ,then press the or button repeatedly, until the desired programme appears in the display (P1 to P12). – The symbol for the corresponding oven function appears in the func - tion display.
Starting the Memory function 1. Switch the oven on using the On/Off but - ton . 2. Use the Baking/R oasting Programmes button to call up the saved setting. Oven interior Clean the oven after every use. This is the easiest way to remove dirt which then cannot bu rn on. 1. When the oven door is open ed, the oven light switches itself on automatically. 2. Wipe out the oven after every use with a solution of washing-up liquid and then dry it.
Grease filter 1. Clean the grease filter in a solution of hot water and washing-up liquid or in the dishwasher. 2. If dirt has become burnt on, simmer in some water and 2-3 tablespoons of dishwasher detergent. Side rails The left and right-hand side rails can be removed from the oven, so that the side walls of the oven can be cleaned.
Replacing the side rails The rounded end s of the guide bars must point to the front! To install, first insert the rails in the holes at the back (1) and then lower into position at the front an d pres s into place (2). Oven lighting WARNING! Risk of electric shock! Before replac ing the oven ligh t bulb: • Switch oven off.
