Description of the Appliance 4 • Do not store any moist foods inside the oven. This could damage the oven enamel. • After switching off the cooling fan, do no t keep uncovered dishes in the oven. Mois- ture may condense in the oven interior or on the glass doors and may get into the uni ts.

Description of the Appliance 6 Ins ide of door On the inside of the oven door you will find the number s of the differ ent oven shelves . Y ou will also find some brief i nformation about the oven's functions , r ecommended shelves and temper atur es for cooking the most popular dishes.

When the appliance has been connected to the electrical supply or when ther e has been a pow- er cut, the functi on indicator Time of day flashes automaticall y .
Using th e Oven 8 Initial cleaning Clean the oven befor e using i t for the first ti me. 1 Important: Do not use caustic or abrasive cleanin g agents! These can damage the oven surfaces. 3 For the metal surfaces , use commer cially available cleaning agents .

11 Using the Oven Rapid heat up After an oven functi on is selected, using the additional function Rapi d heat up the empty oven can be pre -heated in a relati vely short time. 1 Important : Do not put the food to be cooked into the oven, until Rapid heat up is compl eted and the oven is operating using the desired funct ion.

Using th e Oven 18 Other functions Oven’s child safety device The oven is fitted with a child safety device. As soon as the child safety device is activat- ed, the oven cannot be swit ched on. 3 For the child safety device to be activated, none of the oven functions must be currently selected.
19 Using the Ov en Mechanical Door Lock When the appliance is delivered, the door lock is deactivated. Activate the door lock Pull the s afe ty ca tch forw ards unti l it locks in place. Open the ove n door: 1. Shut the door . 2. Press the safety catch and keep it pr essed.
