Display Descript ion There is a malfunction. Residual heat indicator: a cooking zone is still hot. The lock/child safety function is on. The automatic switch-off is on. ACTIVATING AND DEACTIVATING THE HOB Touch for 2 second s to activate the hob. Touch for 1 second to deactivate the hob.
4. To see the remaining time, touch again and again until the indicator for the necessary coo king zone flashes quickly. The display shows the re- maining time. When the set time ends, 00 flashes and an acoustic s ignal sounds. The cooking zone deactivates.
• All cooking zones are deactivated . • You do not set the heat setting after you activate the hob. • You spill something or put something on the hob control panel for more than 10 seconds (a pan, a cloth, etc.). An acoustic signal soun ds and the hob de- activates.
HOB - HELPFUL HINTS AND TIPS WARNING! Refer to "Safety information" chapter. COOKWARE • The bottom of the cookware must be as thick and flat as pos- sible. • Cookware made of enamelled steel and with aluminium or copper bottoms can cause the colour to change on the glass- ceramic surface.
HOB - CARE AND CLEANING WARNING! Refer to "Safety information" chapter. Clean the appliance after each use. Always use cookware with clean botto m. Scratches or dark stains on the glass-ceramic caus e no effect on how the applia nce operates.

OVEN - ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS COOLING FAN When the appliance operates, the cooling fan acti vates automatica lly to kee p the surfaces of the appliance cool. If you de- activate the appliance, the cooling fan continues to operate until the tempera- ture in the appliance cools down.
OVEN - USING THE ACCESSORIES WARNING! Refer to "Safety information" chapter. INSTALLING THE OVEN ACCESSORIES The deep roasting pan and the oven shelf ha ve s ide edges. These edges and the shape of the guide-bars are a special device to prevent the cookware from slip- ping.
To grill flat dishes in large quantities and to toast: 1. Put the roasting pa n grid in the deep roasting pan. The supports of the roasting pan grid must point down. 2. Put the deep roasting pan in the ap- pliance and on the necessary shelf level. 22 www.
