16 Positioning the Projector For projector positioning, see the figures below . The projector should be set perpendicularly to the plane of the screen. Installation Notes: • The brightness in the room has a great influence on picture quality . It is recommended to limit ambient lighting in order to obtain the best image.
17 Installation Installation Connecting the AC Power Cord This projector uses nominal input voltages of 100-120 V or 200–240 V AC and it automatically selects the correct input voltage. It is designed to work with single-phase power systems having a grounded neutral conductor .

46 Language The language used in the On-Screen Menu is available in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Swedish, Finnish, Polish, Hungarian, Romanian, Russian, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese. Set the red frame pointer to the item and press the SELECT button.
47 Setting Setting Display Blue back When this function is “On,” a blue image is displayed while the input signal is not detected. Keystone This function is used to store or reset the keystone correction when the AC power cord is unplugged. Use the Point ▲▼ buttons to switch between each option.

50 Setting Ceiling Rear Ceiling When this function is set to “On,” the picture will be top/ bottom and left/right reversed. This function is used to project the image from a ceiling-mounted projector . Rear When this function is set to “On,” the picture will be left/right reversed.
51 Setting Setting Power management T ime left before Lamp is off. Power management For reducing power consumption as well as maintaining the lamp life, the Power management function turns off the projection lamp when the projector is not operated for a certain period.

56 Setting Factory default This function returns all setting values except for the user logo, PIN code lock, Logo PIN code lock, lamp counter , and filter counter to the factory default settings. Exit the Setting Menu. Quit Select Factory default and this box appears.

61 Maintenance and Cleaning Maintenance and Cleaning This projector uses a high-pressure lamp which must be handled carefully and properly . Improper handling may result in accidents, injury , or create a fire hazard. ● Lamp life may differ from lamp to lamp and according to the environment of use.
62 Problem: – Solutions No power – Plug the power cord of the projector into the AC outlet. – See if the POWER indicator lights red. – W ait until the POWER indicator stops blinking to turn on the projector again. The projector can be turned on after the POWER indicator turns red.
63 Appendix Appendix No image – Check the connection between your computer or video equipment and the projector . See pages 18-20. – See if the input signal is correctly output from your computer . Some laptop computers may need to change the setting for monitor output when connecting to a projector .
