ENGLIS 21 Setting the delay time 1 At the System Setup Menu select “ Delay T ime ” . • Input the distance between the listening position and the different speakers to set the delay time for the surround mode. • The delay time can be set separately for surround speakers A and B.
ENGLISH 22 6 Set the distance between the center speaker and listening position. The distance changes in units of 1 foot (0.1 meters) each time the button is pressed. Select the value closest to the measured distance. If “ Ye s ” is selected for “ Default ” , the settings are automatically reset to the default values.

2 SPEA KER CONFIGURA TION l These settings are extr emely crucial to the ov erall sound q uality and performance of the AVR-2802. Use the “ Lef t/Right” arrow keys to select siz e and the “Up/Dow n” arrow key s to select the speaker channel to adjust.
3 DELA Y TIM E l This menu allows y ou to easily config ure the delay times for all the speakers, including the subwoofer, in the sy stem. W e sugg est you use a tape measure to help y ou be as accurate as possible. This i s a performance advantage over other receiver s that allow only center channel (front and/or rear) delay time adjustment.
