Delphi NA V200 23 I nitializing the Delphi NA V200 The Delphi NAV 200 receives GPS signals continuously via the antenna. In orde r for your anten na to receive signals, ensu re that: 1. T he unit is outside o r in a vehicle parked outside. 2. T he antenna is po inting horizontally out through your windshield and has a clear view of the sky.

In addition to se lecting cities and stre ets, you may also se lect points of interest quickly. To select a destination on the m ap, follow these steps: 1.

Delphi NA V200 40 Destination Management The Delphi NAV 200 stores destinations in two locations: Favorites an d Recent Destinations. Saving a Destina tion 1. Af ter you have entered o r selected a destin ation, you can save it to Favorites by tapp ing .

Delphi NA V200 42 Tap . The dest ination has now been de leted. Route Planning (Itineraries w ith Stopov ers) (Extended Mode Only) The Delphi NAV 200 allows you to plan itineraries even when not receiving a GPS signal. These itineraries can then be st ored for later use.

Delphi NA V200 48 Calculating the Route An itine rary may be calculated even if no GPS signal is bein g received so you can get an impression of the route. Note: When you start navigation, th e system identifie s your current location a nd makes it the start point.
Delphi NA V200 49 W hen the route is calculated, the tota l distance and the estimat ed time from the first to the last route point are displa yed below the route points list of the Route Plannin g screen. The distanc e and estimated t ime of each stage will also be indicated with the selected rou te point entry.
Delphi NA V200 50 Simulating the Route The Delphi NAV 200 allows you to execute a simulated navigation along the itinerary when t he route has been calcula ted. Note: GPS signa l reception is not ne cessary for a simulat ion. Note: Simula tions are restricted to a ma ximum of 60 mile s.

Your rou te will be recalculated in order to make the new route point the next destination .
Delphi NA V200 62 To unblock a blocked section of road, briefly tap on the map and then tap Unblock . De lphi NAV200 u ses the route that had been o riginally calculated.
Delphi NA V200 63 Section 9: Traffi c Messag e Cha nnel (TMC ) Note: This Func tion can only be activate d after installation of external TMC antenna and software upgrade. Traffic Me ssage Channel (TMC) is a subscription service that provide s navigation systems with traff ic information broad cast by radio stations.
Delphi NA V200 64 Using TMC TMC provides the Delphi NAV200 with the latest traff ic information to allow routes to be recalculated around traff ic jams and other obstructio ns. If TMC is activated you ma y display the traffic information on screen. Note: The num ber of current me ssages is indicated by the number beneath the icon.

Delphi NA V200 69 Play ing an Audio File Audio fun ctions are controlled by tap ping on the various buttons located on the control bar in the lower half of the screen: Pla y : Press ing the Play button plays the file listed at Current Music. The screen will display curr ent playback t ime and playback st atus.
Delphi NA V200 70 Stop: Playba ck stops. Current status is displayed a s “Stop.” Curren t playing time is displa yed as “00:00:00.” If Previous or Ne xt is select ed during stop, only the file name moves; pla yback remains stopped. Repeat: Default is All Repeat mode.
