16 Removing the Batte ry T o remove the b attery: 1. T urn of f the p hone. 2. W i th the back of the phone faci ng up, remove the back cover . 3. Lift th e battery from the c ompartmen t along th e tab on the top en d of the b at te ry as sh own belo w , and pull out to remove the battery .

18 Battery Charge St atus The batt ery char ge status i con is displayed on the top-r ight corner o f the ph one's status b ar . When battery ch ar ge is lo w , the battery ch arge status i con flashes and an au dible warning a larm is produced.

Install ing and Removi ng the SIM Car d The SIM card must be installe d b e fore you be ing using your phone.
20 CAUTION: The SIM c ard and its electrical circuits may be easily damaged by rubbing or bending. Ensure that you handle the SIM card carefully w hen installing and removing it. Inst alling the SIM Card T o install the SIM card: 1. Press and hold the power button to turn of f the ph one.
