Cooling F an: A gentle flow of air will be blown below the c ontrol panel when any selector switch is used. Note: Whenever the appliance has been used , the cooling fan may run on or restart itself after all the controls have been turned off . This indicates that the appliance is still w arm.
Oven T imer Operation 9 The Main Oven can be controlled by the automa tic timer . 1. Select foods which require the same cooking time and temperat ure. 2. T o ensure food does not cool down and does not require r eheat ing set the end time so that the food is ready when y ou require it.
10 Know Y our Timer CL OCKF ACE The timer incorporates a 24 hour clock. Ensure the correct time of day is alw ays set , before using you cooker . PLEASE NO TE THA T THE DISPL A Y WILL DIM BET WEEN 22.
Elec tronic C lock and Automa tic Oven Timer Oper ation 11 SETTING THE TIME OF DA Y Step 1 Make sure all ov en controls are turned Off. Step 2 Check the electricity supply to the cooker is turned on. Step 3 When swit ched on the display will show 0.00 and Auto symbol wil l be flashing intermittently .
Elec tronic C lock and Automa tic Oven Timer Oper ation 12 Step 3 P ress and hold in the Cook P eriod button. The display will read 0.00 with the cookpot ( ) symbol lit . Step 4 With the C ook Period button still held in, set the required C oo k Period using the “+” and “–” buttons.

When cooking Automatically the Cook P eriod can be checked at an y time simply by pressing the C ook Period button. 2. When cooking Automatically the End Time can be checked at any t ime by simply pr essing the End Time button.
The grill pan handle is detachable from the pan, to facilitate cleaning and st orage. The grill pan handle can be fixed as f ollows: Step 1 Remove the screw and washers from the grill pan bracket (a). Step 2 Tilt the handle over the recess (b). Step 3 Slide it towards the centre of the pan (c).

Step 1 Ensure that the Timer is set t o Manual. Step 2 Plac e the shelf in the correct position (see O ven T emperature C har ts). Step 3 Select the required cooking temperature (100–220 o C) using con trol (B) (see T op O ven T emperature Charts).
Main Oven (P re-Heat) 21 F an Oven Mode Side Heat Mode F an Ovens provide ev en distribution of heat, allowing food to be cooked an ywhere in the oven at the same t emperature, ideal f or batch baking.
Step 1 Check that the timer is in manual. Step 2 Place the shelf/shelves in the correct position, See Oven T emperature Charts (M ain F an Oven). Step 3 Place the food cen trally on the shelf ensuring the oven d oor is fully closed . Step 4 Select Fan Oven cooking , by turning control (D) clockwise to ‘F AN OVEN’ .
Step 1 Check that the timer is in manual. Step 2 Place the shelf/shelves in the correct position, See Oven T emperature Charts (Con vection Oven). Step 3 Place the food cen trally on the shelf ensuring the oven d oor is fully closed . Step 4 Select Convection cooking (side heat), by turning control (D) anti-clockwise to ‘SIDE HEA T ’ .
“SL OW” Setting (F AN O VEN only) This is used for slow c ooking, keeping food warm and warming plates for short periods. Extra care should be taken when warming bone china, as it may be damaged in a hot oven. Adv antages of “SL OW” cook ing are: The oven sta ys cleaner because there is less splashing.

1. “CREDA CLEAN” OVEN LINERS ( T OP OVEN) (E530E) ( a) How "Credaclean" works . The surfaces of the "Credaclean" oven liners are treat ed with a special vitreous enamel which absorbs cooking soils. At temperatur es of 220°C (425°F) or abov e, the special surface enables these soils to be slowly destroy ed.
4. CLEANING GRILL, T OP OVEN AND MAIN O VEN (a) Base & Rear of T op Oven and Base of Main Oven. Wipe out the oven with a damp soapy cloth. F or more stubborn stains on the base of the oven use a well soaped fine steel wool soap pad . (b) Grill Pan, Meat P ans & Oven Shelv es etc.
5. OVEN DOORS ( a) Contr ol Panel Regularly wipe with a clean, damp cloth and polish with a clean, dry cloth. (b) T rims It is advisable to clean the trims regularly to prevent any build up of soiling which may detract from the appearance of the cooker .
Car e and Cleaning 34 T ake particular c are not to damage the inner surface of the door inner glass that is coa ted with a heat reflective la yer . Do not use scouring pads, or abra siv e powder , which will scratch the glass . Ensure that the glass panel is not subjected to any sharp mechanical blows.
Electric al Requiremen ts F or your own safety , we recommend that your cooker is installed by a compet ent person such as one who is registered with NICEIC (National Inspection Council f or Electrical Installation Contracting). The cooker should be inst alled in accordance with the latest edition of the IEE Regulations.
