7 3. Getting Started Turning Power On & Off • Press the Power Button to turn the camera on. • Press the Power Button again to turn the camera off. Inserting / Removi ng the Batter ies 1. Power off the camera. 2. Slide open the battery compartment cover.
8 Inserting /Removin g a Memor y Card 1. Power off the camera. 2. Open the battery compartment cover. 3. Insert the memory card into the card slot and pres s it gently until you hear a click. 4. To remove, gently press on the edge of the card and pull it out.
9 4. Buttons & Functions Turning Power On & Off • Press the Power Button to turn the camera on. • Press the Power Button again to turn the camera off. Power • If the camera is left idle for a certain period of tim e, the camera will power off automatically.
10 Playback • You can use the playback mode to repl ay, delete or edit images on the LCD. • Select the Playback Mode by pressing the Playback B utton ( ). • Playback Mode displays still images, movie clips and v oice recordings. • Select an image by pressi ng the Left or Right Button.
11 ISO • To adjust the ISO value, select Program Mode and press the Delete / Exposure Button ( ). • Press the up or down button to toggle between EV, ISO and white balance. • Press the Right / Left Button to set the ISO value and press the Menu Button to confirm.
12 Menu • Press the Menu Button open the menu. • When the menu appears on the LCD display, the Menu Button is used to move through the highlighted items in the s ubmenu or to select a menu item. Up / Play & Pause / Macro • Press the Up Button ( ) to move up the submenu.
13 Left / Self-timer • Press the Left Button to highlight items in the left tab. 10 sec. Self-timer ( ): The image will be taken 10 after the s hutter is released. 2 sec. Self-timer ( ): The image will be taken 2 seconds after the shutter i s released.

18 Note: The Continuous Shooting function will not be cancelled until “ Single" is selected . Effect (Default: Normal) NORMAL No special effect is added to the picture. B&W Turns the image black and white. SEPIA Gives the image a yellowish brown tone.

Movie Clip Mode Size The video size options provided are as follows : 1. 720 x 480 2. 640x 480 3. 320 x 240 Metering The Metering Setting allows you to obtai n s uperior exposure conditions and to capture a brighter picture. Multi Metering: Press the ( ) Button on the camera to switch to Movie Clip Mode.
20 8. Voice Recording Mode 1. Press the Mode Button and select the Voice Recording Mode ( ). 2. Press the Shutter Button to start recording and press the Shutter Button again to stop recording. 3. Press the Play / Pause Button ( ) during recording to pause recording and press the Play / Pause Button again to continue recording.
21 9. Playback Mode Protect Protecting Selected Image(s) 1. Press the Menu Button and select "PROTECT". 2. Press the Menu Button to confirm. 3. Choose one image and press the T Button ( )( ). 4. ( ) will appear on the LCD when a file is protected.
