12 AC Mains Fuse An AC mains fuse holder is located next to the A C mains input. It is unlikely that you should ever have to r eplace this fuse, but if you do, it is critical that you do so only with a fuse of exactly the same rating and value (specified in T roubleshooting #8) .
The Remote Control Y our new integrated amplifier comes with a versatile remote control which can control both the CAP-2100 itself and several aspects of the rest of a Classé-based system. e buttons are arranged in logical groups accor ding to their functions.
3 Input Selection ese Up and Do wn arrow keys will cy cle through the active inputs on your CAP-2100. If you have inputs y ou are not using, we suggest deactivating them in or der to provide faster , easier access to the inputs you ar e actually using.
The Menu System Y our CAP-2100 includes a versatile LCD touchscr een which supports both an attractive information display and a flexible menu system. While its use is quite intuitive, itisalsoquiteextensive.issectionoftheo wner’ smanualoutlines the many capabilities found in the menu system.

rotary e rotary knob on the front panel does not directly control the volume. Instead, it controls cir cuitr y that does so with greater fidelity and pr ecision than traditional volume potentiometers could ever achieve.
Ofcourse, itispossibletobumpintotheknobbyaccident, whichmight result in its spinning very quickly indeed. Rather than increasing the volume uncontrollably under these conditions, the CAP-2100 actually slows ev er ything down again as a safety measure against accidentally blo wing up your speakers.

• e 4 button moves the cursor to the right, adding characters along the way . (Change each character to what you want as y ou go along, using the + and – buttons.) • e + and – buttons change the current character through the available characters.
phono gain e phono gain menu is only active if the optional phono module isinstalled; otherwise it is grayed out. When it is installed, the CAP-2100 will automatically recognize it, r ename the line 1 input to phono , and activate the input on the main menu.
teach IR e CAP-2100 provides discr ete infrared (IR) command codes for all its functions, a list that extends far beyond what is requir ed by normal remote controls. H owever , many of these functions are critical if you plan to cr eate a customized remote control with macr os that take command of your entire system.
brightness e brightness setting of the CAP-2100 has three possible values: low , medium, and high . Select the appropriate setting based on the lev el of ambient light typically found in your listening room while using the system.
In the r elativ e system, there is a calibrated, reference v olume referred to as 0dB. is reference v olume is the same level at which movies are play ed in theaters. Regar dless of how large or how small the theater , a setting of 0dB is always the same, known volume.
