4 1 English Handling discs • T o keep a disc clean, do not touch the pla y side (non-label side). • Do not attach sticky notes to or put tape on a disc. • K eep discs awa y from direct sunlight and heat. • Store discs in a protective disc case .
5 1 English Playing a disc (D VD or CD) 1. Put the headphones on your head and turn the headphone power on. 2. Assuming the po wer is on, inser t a D VD into the player . The pla yer displa ys “Loading. ” 3. Aim the remote control directly at the IR receiv er on the play er and press the play/ pause button ( ) or press ENTER (on the remote).

Change the batteries when you begin to hear distor ted audio that cuts in and out.
7 1 English Direct sunlight and temperature extremes Do not leav e the headphones in direct sunlight or extreme temper atures. Playing D VDs Accessing the root men u A D VD is divided into titles and chapters . The root menu shows the contents of the disc.
8 1 English Sample language option • T o cycle through all av ailable languages, continue pressing the A UDIO button. The audio inf or mation disappears automatically if you w ait three seconds. Using subtitles Language subtitles are normally off. Note: Subtitles must be on the D VD .
9 1 English Repeating D VD chapters and titles T o repeat a chapter , title or both, dur ing pla yback contin ue pressing REPEA T to alternate among options. Sample repeat option • Chapter repeats the current chapter . • Title repeats the current title.
0 2 English Sample angle options • T o change the angle, press the ANGLE button again. • T o retur n to normal viewing, press the ANGLE button again. Zooming in and out • T o zoom in (enlarge) the image when watching a D VD , press ZOOM during pla yback.
1 2 English Tint Adjusts the intensity of the color when in NTSC mode (to pla y back D VDs recorded in the United States). Wide Screen Selects the aspect ratio (width vs. height) of the image. Options are Wide (16:9) and Nor mal (4:3) f or the VT800B and VT1000B/VT1000T.
2 2 English T o repeat this section, press the A-B button on the remote. T o cancel the repeat playbac k and resume nor mal pla yback, press the A-B b utton again. Playing MP3s MP3, a f or mat f or stor ing digital audio , compresses each audio trac k with little loss of audio quality .

Cleaning the remote control Use only a clean, soft, damp cloth to clean the remote control. Do not use lighter fl uid, meth yl alcohol or other solvents.

6 2 English T ools and additional components Y ou will need a Phillips-head screwdriver when mounting the pla yer in the v ehicle. Before y ou begin 1. V erify that the vehicle electrical components function, including: power windo ws, power door loc ks, air conditioning, lights, etc.
7 2 English • When routing RCA cables , keep them aw ay from the po wer cables and output speaker wires , engine, e xhaust system, etc. Heat may damage wires . • If the fuse should blo w , make sure that all connections are correct, the cab les hav e not caused a shor t circuit, and no wires are damaged.
8 2 English CA UTION Make sure the s witch is fully to one side or the other . Do not attempt to confi gure this s witch once the pla yer is in position. 4. Cut a one-inch hole in the headliner along the bac kside of the ceiling brack et for the cables to pass through.
9 2 English 3. Route the cab les through the hole to the location of any audio/video sources. 4. Identify the dome light wires in the v ehicle and connect them to the corresponding dome light wire on the ov erhead monitor system. 5. Plug in an y audio/video source cables.

3 3 English Speaker setup page This page controls speaker options . Speaker page DO WNMIX Applies to Dolby digital sound. Y ou cannot change this option, which is permanently set to output stereo signals, that is the pla yer outputs audio to both the left and right channels of the output RCA jacks .
4 3 English DISC MENU Selects the language to displa y the contents of the current disc. ENGLISH, FRENCH, SP ANISH P ARENT AL Restricts movie viewing to appropriate ages. 1 (KID SAF) Material is safe f or children. 2 (G) Material is safe f or general audiences.
5 3 English • There may be condensation in the pla yer . W ait f or about one hour or until the condensation e vaporates . • A fuse may be b lown. Chec k the fuses at the end of the monitor installation cables and on the vehicle . • The play er may be disconnected.
6 3 English The picture is very dark • The temperature in the car is v er y low . At low temperatures LCD screen displa y dark pictures. The picture will improv e as the temperature rises. • The brightness is set too high. Adjust it lower . Press the MENU button on the remote or on the pla yer .
