6 Pr oper use • For safety r easons, the appliance must not be modified. • This appliance is designed for domestic use only . If the dryer is used for any other purposes or is not used correctly , the manufacturer accepts no responsibility for any possible damage that might occur .
7 Discarding Discar ding P ackaging materials Dispose of your tumble dryer’s packaging materials corr ectly . All materials are environmentally friendly and can be disposed of without any danger . The plastic parts can be reused: • The external plastic cover and the bags inside are made of polyethylene (>PE<).

12 Structure of the appliance If the door of the appliance or the small door at the bottom i s opened while the progr amme is running, thi s button must be pressed again after clos ing the door in order to r estart the pro- gramme fr om the point at which it was interrupted.
13 4 “ LAGE TEMP/DELICAT ” button Pressing this button allows drying to be performed at a lower tem- peratur e, for delicate items. The corresponding pilot light comes on. This option can also be used for time controlled drying. This option cannot be selected with “KORT/COURT” .
Duration of selected pr ogramme After you have selected the progr amme, its duration (in hour s and minutes) appears on the display . It is calculated automatically on the basis of the maximum load accepted for each type of fabric and of the requir ed degree of drying.
Incorrect option selection If you select an option that is not compatible with the progr amme you have selected, the display shows E E r r r r (error) This code will reappear during the execution of the pr ogramme if you press one of the option buttons or turn the pr ogramme selector .
9 INDICAT OR LIGHTS These lights indicate the following functions: • “ DROGEN/SECHAGE ” light. This light indicates that the appliance is in the drying phase. • “ AFKOELEN/REFROID. ” light. This light indicates that the appliance is in the cooling phase.
17 Drying Drying Befor e the first drying cycle Before using your tumble dryer for the fir st time, we recommend to place a few damp cloths inside the appliance and dry for 30 minutes.
Switch the machine on - select the drying pr ogramme/time • Select the drying progr amme or time. The lights “DROGEN/SECHAGE”, “ AFKOELEN/REFROID.” and “EINDE/FIN” come on. The light of the “START/P AUSE-MARCHE/PAU SE” button flashes and the display shows the duration of the pr ogramme.
End of drying cycle If the laundry is not removed at the end of the cycle, the dryer per- forms an anti-creasing phase (dur ation: 30 minutes maximum). If you do not remove the laundry , the dryer will stop automatically at the end of the anti-creasing phase.
