TO INSTALL AND REPLACE BA TTERIES IN THE WEATHER PROJECTION STATION The Weather Proj ection Station uses 3 x AA, IEC LR6, 1.5V batt eries. To install an d replace the batteries, pl ease foll ow the steps below: 1. Insert fing er or other soli d object in the space at the bottom center o f the battery compart ment and li ft up to remo ve the c over.
BATTERY INSTA LLATION: 1. First, insert the batt eries into the Weather Projection Stati on (see “T o install and replace bat teries in the Weather Proj ection Station ”). Once the batteries are in place, all segment s of the L CD will light up briefly and a short sign al tone will sound.

MANUAL SETTINGS: The following manual settings can be changed when pr essing the SET k ey for: • LCD contrast setting • Time zone setting • DST (Daylig ht Saving Time) setting • Time reception.
DST (DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME) SETTING: Note: The DST default is “ON”, meaning that the received time will automatically be adjusted accor ding to Dayli ght Saving Time in the spring and fall. For areas that do not recogniz e DST changes (Ariz ona and parts of Indiana) turn the DS T “OFF”.
MANUAL TIME SETTING: In case the Weather Projection Station c annot detect t he WWVB-signal ( for example due to disturbances, trans mitting distance, etc.) , the time can be manually set. Th e clock will then w ork as a normal Quar tz clock. 1. The hour digit will start flashing.
Icons flashing SNOOZE SETTING: The snooze time can b e set OFF to a maximu m time of 30 minu tes (default is 10 minutes): 1. Use the CH/+ key to set the snooz e time. Each pressing of the key w ill increase the sno oze time by 5 min utes. The snooze ca n also be set OFF when the “OFF” d igit is being display ed.
ALARM SETTING: The alarm time c an be set when pr essing the ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 key . 1. Press the ALAR M 1 or ALARM 2 key until the alarm digits flash. 2. Use the HOU R/IN key to set the al arm hour. 3. Use the MIN /OUT key to set the alar m minute. 4.

The icons display ed forecasts the w eather in terms of getting better or w orse and not necessari ly sunny or rainy as each icon in dicates. For exampl e, if the current weather is cloudy and the r ainy icon is displ ayed, it does not mean that the product is faulty because it i s not raining.
INDOOR RELATIVE HUMIDITY AND INDOOR TEM PERATURE : The indoor temper ature and humi dity data, th e indoor comfort indi cator are automatically updated and display ed on the four th section of the LC D. TOGGLING AND RESETTING THE OUTDOOR RECORDINGS: 1. To toggle betw een the outd oor current, MIN/ MAX temperature and humidity data and the times ( for temperature data only) they were recorded press the MI N/OUT key: Once to show the M AX outdoor temper ature and humi dity data with t he recorded time and date.
